I’m a native English speaker living in the south of England in green, leafy Surrey, specialising in the translation of French and Japanese to English. I am also a holder of BA in French and Japanese from Cardiff University, and have recently been approved to work on security cleared projects.

I’ve been a translator for over 5 years now and though I have experience in a wide range of areas, I prefer to focus on just a few. These areas include tourism, fashion, gastronomy, legal, financial and technical texts. I endeavour to fully research and read around the subject of any translation I undertake, to provide you with the highest quality translation possible.

One of the things I consider to be huge advantage as a freelance translator is the opportunity to combine my personal interests with my professional ones. One of my passions is wine, and with my personal experience in winemaking (albeit homebrew) and professional, translating wine tasting notes, soil descriptions, marketing and others, and I feel that my interest in the subject only serves to to aid me in providing the highest quality translations.
